CRYSTAL EXPOSURE
What Is Crystal Exposure?

Crystal exposure is the artificial exposure of the crystalline structures in metals, which metalwork techniques are normally unable to uncover, as crystalline patterns on the metal's surface.
The technique is characterized by crystalline patterns—left to nature so that no two are the same—which glisten brilliantly when held against the light. An original method developed by our company founder, it is one of our representative styles of expression.

What is Imitation Coating?

Imitation coating means applying color artificially by spraying the product with paint, made from a mixture of pigment, resin, and solvent.
At Sugimoto Bisou, we furnish products with outstanding weatherability and chemical resistance, by spraying them with acrylic resin before baking.
In our original products, we have embraced the new challenge of coating glass items using paint containing metal powder.
